Kauai

After visiting Maui, which I love, several times, I thought it was time to visit Kauai - also known as the "Garden Island." It certainly lives up to its name with its pristine nature and stunning tropical landscapes – the island has 4 dramatic mountains, mostly covered by lush forest, together with wonderful stretches of beaches.

The Na Pali Coast is rugged and beautiful.

View from the sunset cruise was worth the wait after our (very) choppy ride out.

Poipu Beach is a lovely location in the south where the sun shines most days!

In addition to beautiful beaches, there are magical forests to explore that will take your breath away.

Green and lush at every turn. Make sure to venture out and explore the less-known hiking spots.

A hike in the woods or a swim in the ocean – it's green everywhere!

It's worth it to get up early and start the day with the turtles!
