Living (and aging) gracefully

I was always intrigued by the term"aging gracefully" and stored it in the back of my mind when I was a young woman. Audrey Hepburn would come to mind, and who wouldn't want to age like Audrey? I liked the term and what it implied, and I felt it was what I wanted for myself in my later years. When I Googled the term, there were many different definitions; here's the one that most resonated with me:

Aging gracefully means having an adventurous spirit, a playful and positive attitude, a grateful heart, and a commitment to self-care.

Basically, aging well is really just about living well and staying true to our passions until we take our last breath. One of my passions is travel. Not only do I learn a lot about the world and history through travel, but I find it also brings out my adventurous spirit and challenges all my senses. To inspire others, I'm going to share my travel experiences and offer support to anyone who is ready to travel and wants my help finding planning a trip full of adventure.

I'm available to offer suggestions and support to anyone wishing to visit any of the places where I have more recent experience: Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Cinque Terre, Copenhagen, Costa Rica, Croatia, Kauai, Maui, Prague, Rome, Sweden, and Thailand.

In 2023, I have trips planned to the Galapagos Islands in April and in November to Budapest, and Vienna. I'd love to hear your tips about any of these places before I head out! I'll be sure to share photos when I return.

I'm also a certified life/career coach, and I can offer support to ignite your passion and help you take on new challenges if you're not ready to retire, but want to try something new. I left a corporate job in 2016, revisited my entrepreneurial interests, and have never been happier! I'd love to help you find the path that inspires you. Having always enjoyed writing, I now write more in my work than I'd been able to do in previous roles. Because I enjoyed mentoring others, I took a coaching course. The point is that we all have passions and strengths that we can tap into and make our work and life more fulfilling, at any time of our life. If this resonates with you, let's work together and develop a plan for you to live your best life. It's never too late to start, and there's no time like the present!
